RAD Society
The RAD Society provides short-term loans of specialized adaptive equipment for accessing numerous recreation, nature and outdoor activities. We have partnered with RAD and have brought some of their equipment to our library; a 3-wheeled, arm powered adaptive handcycle that allows individuals with lower limb impairment, balance issues and/or fatigue the option of upper body biking. A mountain trike with electric assist all-terrain outdoor wheelchair with lightweight aluminum frame and high-end mountain bike technology. An A-Linker, 3-wheeled, non-motorized walking-bike without pedals.
